The Vaucluse agri-food industry has genius: Azuvia

Azuvia has developed a unique concept for treating wastewater.
Growing a garden at height to treat wastewater. This is the concept developed by Azuvia, a start-up based in Avignon since 2019. Now well-known in the region, it plans to to expand into Nouvelle-Aquitaine in 2023 and invest in research and development to treat heavy metals, hydrocarbons, and endocrine disruptors.

In search of space, Azuvia moves from the Paris region to Avignon
Azuvia, a company founded in the Paris region, moved to Avignon to benefit from an outdoor site, essential for the development of its natural water filtration business.
"In Paris, if you're not a digital services company, it's very difficult to start a business. We were looking for a space measuring between 200 and 500 square meters, but we never found it."

Azuvia: Biological filter beds for cellar effluents
A young start-up based in Vaucluse, France, Azuvia is developing a biological treatment process for wine effluents, soon to be patented.
A contraction of azur (blue) and via (way), Azuvia has been making step-by-step progress in the field of biological water treatment for just over four years.
